Therapy for Healthcare and Mental Health Professionals Navigating Workplace Stress, Ethical Tension, and Career Uncertainty
Serving Maryland, DC & Virginia - Secure virtual sessions available.
You may still be doing your job well. Others rely on you. From the outside, nothing looks wrong.
But inside, something feels heavier than it used to. The pressure is building. The role you once felt proud of now feels more complicated. You’re questioning how sustainable this pace — or this setting — really is.
You don’t have to make big decisions from exhaustion. Therapy can be a space to slow down, think clearly, and discover what really matters.
You may recognize yourself here:
• You’re competent and capable but more depleted than you admit.
• You care deeply about the work, yet something feels misaligned.
• You carry responsibility well and privately feel the strain.
• You’re sensing something needs to shift, but your unsure.
• You want steadiness before making your next move.
You spend your days carrying responsibility inside demanding systems of care. But who holds space for you?
When the pressure at work builds, when your values feel stretched thin, or when you're quietly questioning what comes next, you deserve support from someone who understands the weight of responsibility you carry.
At KWD Wellness, I offer grounded therapy for healthcare and mental health professionals navigating workplace stress, ethical tension, and career uncertainty.
This work is not about pushing through or simply calming down. It is about slowing down enough to notice what is happening, internally and externally.
Hi, I’m Kristin (she/her)
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working inside complex systems of care. My career has included clinical practice, leadership, and supervision, and I continue to support healthcare and mental health professionals navigating the pressures of those environments today.
I understand what it feels like to care deeply about your work while quietly carrying more than most people see. The responsibility, the competing expectations, the ethical tension, and the questions about sustainability can build slowly over time.
My role is not to tell you what to do next. It is to offer a steady space where you can slow down, reflect honestly, and sort through what is weighing on you without added pressure.
My approach is grounded in trauma informed care and mindfulness informed practice. Together, we work at a pace that feels sustainable, exploring patterns, clarifying boundaries, and strengthening your capacity to stay steady inside demanding systems of care.
You are used to being the one others rely on. This can be the place where you do not have to carry it alone.
You do not have to sort through workplace pressure or professional uncertainty alone.
If you are ready for a steady space to reflect without added pressure, I invite you to schedule a free 20-minute consultation.
